Be Shameless

Yup, I said it. That’s what I am going to do. After speaking with a few authors, names I won’t name unless they give me permission (stay tuned for that), the only way to be successful as a writer is to do three things. First, write a good book. Second, have an editor rip it to shreds and rewrite that good book to be a great book. (Oh boy, don’t get ahead ahead or yourself here, Sean).

And last, and apparently most important, PROMOTE THAT BOOK! So, here it is, the first step in a journey of 1 Million Copies Sold (frankly I would settle for just one person who doesn’t share a genetic tie to either me or my wife to buy a copy). But 1 million Copies would be well received. Everyone says you have to promote the book BEFORE it comes out. Well, then, guess it’s time to step into the discomfort of self-promotion. But that is hard to do. Well, here goes!
